Summer trend 2012

Style Notes by Elena Schiavon on 21 June 2012

It is not easy to understand and choose between all the seasonal trends thatappear in magazines.
For men the task is not a simple one, there are formal situations in which it is difficult to wear fashion looks as seen in fashion shoots. The colour trend of the season is bright; all shades of pink, blue, flower prints and multicolour patterns that need to be combined with the right outfit.
Floral prints are difficult to wear every day, but more masculine colours suchas dark red, burnt aubergine, mint green are more accessible. There is also a revival for the patterns of the dressing gowns used by Hollywood celebrities in the silent movies.
The multicolour pattern is taking more freedom in the fashion universe, as long as it is elegant and discrete. The floral pattern is inspired by geometric shapes, by imposing their form on clean cuts, merging colours and bespokecuts.
Those who prefer to stay on the safe side, wearing a more classic look, canopt for pastel colours. Delicate shades such as pale pink, green water andsky blue are prominent this season; they have been in shirts, polo shirts andjackets.
Menswear always welcomes the classic elegance of a bespoke suit, perfectly cut and designed. Those who prefer the classic look can choose from all shades of blue; the Pal Zileri timeless collections are always a perfect solution.
